School Matinees β Important Information!
We have two school matinee performances on:
π Thursday, March 20 at 11:00 AM β SOLD OUT
π Friday, March 21 at 11:00 AM β Almost Sold Out
β° Actors must arrive at the theatre by 10:00 AM. The show runs approximately one hour, so they will need to be excused from school for part of the day.
π¨ A Note About Matinee Seating for Parents π¨
Our school matinees are extremely full (Thursday is sold out), and these performances can be very chaotic with large groups of students arriving at once. We kindly ask that parents do not plan to wait for their child and try to sneak into the performance. If you are hoping to attend, please speak with us in advance so we can better guide you on whether the theatre can accommodate you.
This is not our theatreβwe are guests at Kingsbury Hall, and sometimes their policies differ from what we would normally allow. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation!
During the final week of Charting Neverland, we ask families to help provide meals for our cast and crew during tech rehearsals.
Tech Rehearsal Dinners will take place on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday at 4:30 PM in the Kingsbury Hall Founders Room (we may be using a larger space in a building next door to the theatre - we will update you, soon). Set-up can begin at 4:15 PM.
With 78 cast members and additional crew, we have a large group to feed. We encourage families to sign up for one of these dinner slots, but if you're able to help on multiple days, we would be incredibly grateful!
Please note:
- Cast members are not required to attend the rehearsal dinners but should arrive at the theatre by 5:00 PM to be ready for tech rehearsal.
- Cast members are welcome to join the dinner or bring their own food if they prefer.
These shared meals have become a wonderful bonding experience for the cast, and we appreciate your help in making them happen. Thank you for your support!

Tech and Show Week - Kingsbury Hall
What is Tech Week?
Tech Week is when we combine all technical elements (lights, sound, costumes, etc.) with the performers to prepare for the final production. This is an exciting but often intense week as we polish every aspect of the show.

Meet at Kingsbury Hall
The entire week we will be rehearsing and performing at Kingsbury Hall. It's always challenging to park in this area but you can drop off on the corner or closer to the stage door (marked in the image). This is where actors should come in and where they will exit the theatre.
For our Tech Rehearsal Cast Dinners we are hoping to get a large classroom space in the James Fletcher Building and/or the Widtsoe Building on the corner.
What to Bring to Tech
- Water bottle β Plastic preferred for quieter spills backstage.
- Book to read, coloring pages, or other quiet activities for downtime.
- Makeup (Starting Tuesday of Tech Week) β Students may arrive with makeup on or apply it at the theatre. Mascara, blush, and lipstick are recommended but not required.
- Hair (Starting Tuesday of Tech Week) β Hair should be styled away from the face. Most actors will have hats, headbands, or other hair accessories in different scenes, so simple hair management will help prevent issues
Reminders
Important: Parents and family members are not allowed backstage. For safety reasons, please meet your child at the stage door for check-in and check-out.
Please note that adult cast members and crew will continue working until 10 PM, and directors and designers will have a meeting until 11 PM.
