University of Utah Youth Theatre (UUYT) is dedicated to empowering youth to skillfully participate in the performing arts as a vehicle to explore their creativity, engage in their community and think critically about the world. For over twenty-five years, UUYT has been providing high quality out of school time theatre arts programs for young people along the Wasatch Front.

TRAINING
The Theatre School introduces students ages 4—18 to the world of drama. We aim to develop creativity, critical thinking skills and promote positive youth development through authentic, “hands-on” learning experiences.
PRODUCTIONS
Our Production Season provides a professional working environment for our young actors at no cost to the student. Audition for a chance to perform at Kingsbury Hall or other venues across campus and the state.
LOCATION
Our offices and our classes are located in the West Institute. The West Institute is on the corner of 300 South and University Street (1340 East).
