PERFORMANCE WEEK REMINDERS
Students will have their only rehearsals in the actual performance venues during showcase week.
These rehearsals are extremely important as students learn the performance space, adjust staging, and finalize technical elements.
Because students will be traveling between rehearsal and performance locations throughout the day, late arrivals and early departures may be more difficult to accommodate than usual.
Full attendance is strongly encouraged.
The last day of the session remains a full camp day for all students.
The day includes elective celebrations, final company activities, and our Color Spirit Day celebration.
We encourage all students to attend as we wrap up another wonderful summer session together.
PERFORMANCES
- Students should arrive no later than 30 minutes before their scheduled performance time. Teachers arrive 45 minutes before show time so please don't drop students off earlier than that.
- Please check in with their YTU Staff upon arrival. There will be a table by the entrance in the lobby for Check In.
- Students can arrive in their costume pieces from home unless otherwise instructed by their teachers
Most companies have a break between the end of the camp day and their evening performance.
Students will not remain supervised by Youth Theatre during this time. Families should plan to pick students up at the normal end of camp and then return them to the performance venue at their scheduled call time, which is 30 minutes before the performance begins.
Many families use this break to have dinner, change into costume pieces if needed, and help students recharge before the showcase.
At the conclusion of each performance, students will be escorted to the lobby area.
Families may pick students up directly from the lobby following the performance
Most showcase performances will run approximately 45–60 minutes total with each group performing for 10- 20 minutes depending on grade and genre.
Both venues are wheelchair accessible.
If you have accessibility needs or questions, please contact our office prior to your performance date.
Guest limits are based on the number of performers in each showcase and the seating capacity of each venue. There are no tickets or reservations required. Seating is first come, first served.

- To help accommodate families, performances have been organized by age group and company size.
- Most families should be able to bring approximately 5–6 guests.
- There are currently no tickets and no admission fees.
- If your family anticipates needing additional seats, please contact the Youth Theatre office as soon as possible.
- Located in the Performing Arts Building.
- The Performing Arts Building Studio 115 is a smaller venue than those used during previous summers.
- To help accommodate families, performances have been organized by age group and company size.
- Most families should plan for approximately 3–4 guests.
- There are currently no tickets and no admission fees.
- If your family anticipates needing additional seats, please contact the Youth Theatre office as soon as possible.

• If wearing leggings or tights, please wear shorts or a skirt over them
• Students will perform barefoot
Faeries and Titania
• Simple clothing in softer colors such as blue, orange, khaki, gray, or other muted tones
• Please avoid bright white, neon colors, or vivid reds
• Simple top (T-shirt, long sleeve, button-up, camisole, etc.)
• Simple bottoms (pants, shorts, or skirt)
• If wearing leggings or tights, please wear shorts or a skirt over them
• Students will perform barefoot
Optional
• Students are welcome to bring a few labeled costume accessories from home, such as wings, flowers, or tutus, for teacher approval.
• Please do not send extra costume pieces intended for other students to borrow.
• Students may choose their own hair and makeup. The Theatre does not want glitter on their stage.
