Our afterschool theatre program invites students to work together to create, rehearse, and perform a one-act play or musical. Every student has a role, every voice matters, and every participant will shine on stage.
AUDITIONS
OCTOBER 7 and 9
Tuesday & Thursday from 2:30 - 4:00 pm
Students do not need to prepare any materials.
Auditions are for placement only.
Rehearsals
October 13 - December 5
Tuesdays & Thursdays from 2:30 - 4:00 pm
PERFORMANCES
Early December - Date and Time TBA
Attendance Commitment
Theatre is a team effort. Every student has a part, and the group relies on each other to create a successful show. Because of this, consistent attendance is crucial.
- Students are expected to attend all rehearsals unless ill or facing an unavoidable conflict.
- Missing multiple rehearsals may limit a student’s stage time.
- Please review your family schedule before registering to ensure your child can commit to the program.
What Students Do
- Learn acting, singing, and movement
- Work as a team to rehearse a musical
- Gain confidence in public speaking and performance
- Share their work with friends, family, and school community in a final performance
What’s Included
- Instruction from professional theatre educators
- A role in the final one-act play or musical
- A custom show t-shirt (students keep this)
- Costume pieces and props provided
Registration
- Open to all interested students—no audition required
- Your School sovers teaching, costumes, props, and final performance
